Since its onset, the world has and is still putting various measures to fight against Corona Virus (COVID-19) a pandemic that has claimed thousands of lives across the globe. Despite not registering a confirmed case, Malawi declared the pandemic as a state of emergency and has already put in place preparedness and control measures.
Corresponding to the government’s intervention, Civil Servants (CSOs) across Malawi are also responding to the core.
During the WASH cluster meeting which is scheduled every Tuesdays at Tikwere House in Lilongwe, a response plan and budget was brought to the attention of the members. It is also good to note that WESNetwork members at both district and national level are acting in an emergency mode.
