Background

Established in 2005 the Water and Environmental Sanitation (WES) Network is a member based Civil Society Organization with membership across Malawi whose strategic objectives are;

  1. Strengthened Coordination in WASH Sector
  2. Enhanced knowledge, research and technology sharing for improved WASH service delivery.
  • Improved advocacy on Policy and Operational Frameworks
  1. Strengthened Institutional capacity of WES Network

WES Network’s main mandate is to coordinate the work of WASH stakeholders across the country.  Within its scope of work, WES Network engages all sector constituencies, including: Government, Donor, CSOs, Private Actors, Academia and Individuals.

Structure

WES Network has a Board that is duly elected by WES Network members. The board is comprised of the Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Treasurer, and members as the top management. Then there is the secretariat that facilitates the Network’s scope of work followed by the Member NGOs.

Objective

Being one of its mandate, the secretariat is pleased to call upon all its members to participate in the 2020 Annual General Meeting which has been scheduled as follows:
