Since 1991, the Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI) has annually organised the World Water Week (WWW) that has aimed at transforming the global Water Sector. During the conferences, a number of issues ranging from finances, challenges, opportunities strengths etc. are discussed.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year members virtually convened between 24th and 28th August under the umbrella #WWWeek #AtHome.

This year’s Stockholm Junior Water Prize was awarded to to Japan. On 25 August 2020, SIWI announced Hiroki, Matsuhashi and Takuma Miyami’s innovative approach on soil erosion the winner.( http://www.worldwaterweek.org )
