Objective

To facilitate activities related to water supply within the WESNET, ensuring adherence to policies, standards, and operational frameworks for sustainable service delivery.

Specific Objectives

• Coordinate input, influence, and support water supply policy and operational frameworks.
• Promote and monitor adherence to standards, guidelines, and policies among WES Network members.
• Establish and maintain a coordination framework to enhance collaboration among stakeholders working in urban, peri-urban, and rural areas.
• Facilitate capacity building and learning opportunities on best practices, lessons learned, and emerging technologies in water supply.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Elect a Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, and Secretary to serve a two-year term in line with WESNET Board elections.
• The Chairperson will preside over TWG meetings and report to the WESNET Steering Committee.
• The Secretary will schedule meetings, liaise with members, take minutes, and communicate with the secretariat.
• All members will actively contribute to achieving the TWG’s objectives.
