Kenya is one of the few African countries whose Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) sector, specifically Menstrual Hygiene Management issues (MHM) has hailed a milestone. Coordinated by Kenya Water and Sanitation Civil Society Network (KEWASNet), Kenyan stakeholders and the government removed tax on sanitary pads in order to promote MHM for the Kenyan Girls and women. http://www.kewasanet.co.ke
Malawi’s Water and Environmental Sanitation Network (WESNetwork) has therefore embarked on a learning exchange visit . WESNetwork’s secretariat members also visited Water Sector fund which is a statutory entity responsible for resource mobisation.
