On 23 March 2021, WES Network members held a press briefing whose main agenda was to ask government to prioritize the WASH sector. In her remarks the board chairperson for WES Network, madam Kate Harawa said that its very unfortunate to note that the WASH Cluster is on the verge of being dissolved. “The role of water in almost all sectors can not be ignored, as a country in the 21 centuary we need to be thinking of the returns of investing in water not killing it” added the National Coordinator, Mr. Willies Mwandira.
