For the first time, Malawi will be represented by a Water and Sanitation Minister during the Sector’s Minister’s Meeting which is taking place 0n 18-19 May 2022 in Jarkatar, Indonesia.
Honorable Abida Sidik Mia, is also expected to make a presentation during the meeting on Recovery and financing-how Malawi is maximizing the value of funding. She will also tackle share successful models for Malawi. The Minister is also expected to share learning models from fellow foreign implementers.
Today WESNetwork and fellow Sanitation and Water for All (SWA) Constituencies held a preparatory meeting with the Minister along with the Minister of Health, Honorable Khumbidze Chiponda Kandodo who will also attend the meeting.
