Being a signatory to the United Nations (UN) and on the course to attain SDG6 by 2030,  Malawi joins the rest of the UN family across the globe to commemorate  the World Toilet day which falls on 19th November (tomorrow) annually. The day was set aside in July 2013 to celebrate toilets and raise awareness to raise safely managed sanitation where proper use of toilet and pit latrines is critical.

This year’s commemoration have been themed “Sustainable sanitation and climate change” . As a country let think of innovative ways of making our poop more useful than just waste. Poop can be a resource for the agriculture and industrial sector!

Happy World Toilet Day in advance!
